I have decided to only have one blog. Since I like the name and address of this one a whole lot more than the other one this one wins! YAY! I have also decided that this one is easier since it isn't private. I know that some of my family etc. have a hard time accessing my other blog so now this one is the only one I will be updating. I will probably print the other one into a book someday since it was my journal. I hope to eventually print this one into a book as well.

Epic FHE and proud parent moment.
Tonight FHE (none of which was actually spent at home) was epic. It was a night filled with good food, shopping, feats of generosity, tears, and someone (we will not mention who) slipping in a random strangers vomit at Walmart and landing in the pile of it.
Remember how I posted a picture of Ella winning a bike at the end of the school year? Well since she has a new bike from her birthday she decided (on her own) to give the bike to her brother. After going to dinner we headed to Walmart to redeem the gift certificate for $60 towards any bike. James chose one and as we were checking out the cashier heard that Ella was giving the bike to James and started crying. All the people near by started praising Ella on her generosity and what a good sister she was. She was beaming!!! I was thrilled to have her praised for such a virtue. As we were getting ready to pay the difference on the bike the manager of Walmart found us (wanted to discuss the unfortunate vomit incident... which they handled SO well by the way.) She was so touched with Ella (and hoping not to get sued I'm sure) that she said Walmart would cover the difference on the bike (About $24). Nice!
I have the best kids ever!

Pancake people.
Have you ever seen the movie "Despicable me"? If not you won't get the reference in this post. Also, if not... GO RENT IT! It is awesome.
James requested his pancake be shaped like a dead guy today...
He was thrilled.
Ella requested a fairy...
She was not so thrilled.
apparently my pancake artistry skills need some honing.

It's the Last Day of School...
and our tradition is setting up the bed tents! They go up the last day of school and come down the night before school starts again. I loved, loved bed tents when I was young. It was like my own little bubble of privacy. I especially loved to hide in mine and read. I think the kids were pretty excited. We had to buy new ones because the ones we had used for the past 2 years had fallen apart.
No bed tent for Sammy!

Marvelous May.
I am a warm weather gal... I love opening the sunroof!
This is probably my favorite picture of the month... I love these cute siblings.
My little ninja watching TMNT
James racing me home on his new scooter that his birth mother gave him.
someone got his first tooth!
Those eyes! Those lips!
We enjoyed walks/bike rides
For mother's day I asked for a baby bucket for our swing set... Sam loves it!
I was at Smith's Marketplace and saw these cute earrings... I had no choice but to buy them when I saw what the brand was called.
James and his sweet "girlfriend" L. He would yell and say "SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!" if he knew I said that.
I got to go on James's field trip to the Zoo... we had so much fun!

Sam came along too... he even wore appropriate jammies.
James has the CUTEST little group of friends.
Ella, Sam and I went to the chalk are festival to see the art and also to watch my cousins outdoor concert. We had so much fun but it did get a little loud for Sam.
Sam loved it but he got cold... so he was happy when I bundled him up to leave.
I came across this paper one day while cleaning the kitchen. Ella LOVES to write stories and I LOVE to read them. I found this and just giggled the whole time. I will put a translation under this picture.
The Drama Queen
My Best friend Abigail
is a total Drama Queen I am serious she's a Big Fat baby and I mean it. When her boy friend dump her she cries all
day and then the next day she did not talk to anyone Not even her teacher at
school. She hates me and my family. She is spoiled. Her clothes are so cool. If you saw her clothes then you would want
them, well not me, I think they're ugly but some people like her clothes. My mom doesn't like her at all. She said that my Mom's cooking is so bad that
she could die from it.
Snuggling my two boys... not the clearest picture but it sure makes me happy.
I think he is starting to enjoy solids more!
Every ear the PTA gives away 2 bikes at our elementary school. The kids have to read and then they are entered into the drawing. Well Ella won this year!!! It was so exciting!
We carpooled with cousins to a birthday party... they thought it was great! I thought it was loud. ;)
James got a bad case of hand foot and mouth. Poor little guy.
I took Sam to the grocery store and he screamed and screamed. He stopped screaming and fell asleep the second we got to the car. Thanks a lot kid. :)
On the last day of May we got James "Car" ready for his last day of school. He got to bring it and watch a movie in it.
(Poor Sammy was sick... had been for a while.)
